Gatwick Nudes

Posted on 14 March 2009 by Airline News

A “major airline player” is advertising for 999 people to turn up in central London on Sunday 15th March and take their clothes off for the press. In return each participant is being offered 2 return flights from Gatwick to one of eight destinations that the airline is launching from there.

Airline-News was relieved to read at the website where they are recruiting for these exhibitionists,  “You won’t be completely naked – you’ll be given something small to wear over your private parts.”.

Registration is now closed for the event.

Speculation is that the airline involved is Aer Lingus because they are launching 8 routes from Gatwick in April in an ambitious plan to grab market share at London’s second largest airport. It could also be that Ryanair or easyJet is behind the move in an attempt to spoil the Aer Lingus party !

All will be revealed on Sunday

It was at the London Eye today.
Apparently they didn’t get the 999 nudes they wanted, not sure how many they (Aer Lingus) had and whether any crew were involved ;-)
