New beach holiday booking website flexholidays.co.uk has revealed it’s most searched destinations since launching at the start of 2009. The top ten list doesn’t reveal any big surprises, except perhaps that Spain is holding the top three positions and only 2 of the destinations in the top ten are non Euro zone :
- Mallorca
- Ibiza
- Tenerife
- Sharm El Sheikh
- Minorca
- Algarve
- Crete
- Rhodes
- Gran Canaria
- Dalaman
A spokesperson for flex holidays added that “All Inclusive holidays are booking very well”, and “bookings have been coming in very close to departure with a late rush of bookings for the Easter holidays coming in throughout March”. Flex holidays uses low cost airlines including easyJet and bmibaby as well as charter airlines and packages these flights with hotels and apartments from 10 different “bedbanks” to create low cost holidays.

I went to Porec in Croatia for my honeymoon. I twas a really cheap holiday, great fun, we had a good time. When my Polish friend Vlad said he couldn’t afford a honeymoon, I told him about mine and he went to Porec and had a great time. It’s too late now … bet you wish you’d gone to Porec.
