Passengers can now choose from a wider selection of outbound services to places such as Lanzarote (ACE) and Ibiza (IBZ).

Airline director Frank Pullman explained that surging demand prompted the move, with a total of 80,000 summer travellers now expected to travel with the carrier from Cardiff alone.

Alluding to the boosted services as that gateway, he added: “Holidays abroad have proven to be as popular as ever … With an aircraft based at the airport, it has enabled us to be more flexible so that we can add flights where we feel there is sufficient customer demand.”

At Leeds Bradford Jet2 holidays have been busy expanding their flight + hotel offering.
Thomas Cook Airlines currently flies to 22 destinations from Cardiff, Wales and 17 destinations from Yorkshire.
